 | notify: change of address There are various organisations that you're probably registered with that need to know you've moved on. One of the easiest ways of letting them know you new address is via a great website called: iammoving.com - a service partly owned by the Royal Mail. iammoving.com makes it easier for you to tell multiple organisations that you're moving home. Instead of having to dig out all their phone numbers and/or addresses, use the site to manage everything in one place. The service list thousands of different organisations on their site - including: banks, credit card companies, local councils, government agencies, utility companies, mobile operators and many, many more. Lots of them accept electronic notifications directly from iammoving.com. Once you've confirmed your move and account information on their site, they do the rest for you. Plus - to notify any organisations that don't link with their systems, you simply print off a pre-filled form from the site, sign it and pop it in the post. As well as giving them your new address and moving date, iammoving.com also lets you stop services at your old address and start them at the new one - which is perfect for suppliers like electricity and gas supply.
And the best news is: the service is free and safe - it wont cost you a penny. They take security of your information very seriously a d don't share it with anyone else, other than the organisations you've told them to notify of your address change. |
 | get your mail!Make sure you still get your mail after you have moved! Register with Royal Mail's postal re-direction service, to ensure all mail that arrives after you move out is re-directed to your new address.
